P3T, Public Policies and Territory is promoted by Innovació i Consultoria en Polítiques Públiques and it aims to be means for research, reflection and discussion about the relation between public policy and territories. The scope of the review is mainly concerned with the territory not only as a physical space but also as the place where human interaction take place and where the economic, social and cultural interests become real.

P3T, Public Policies and Territory is also a communication tool for both the scientific community and professionals interested in public policies.

Eduard Jiménez Hernàndez (Barcelona, 1959) is Director of “Innovación y Consultoría en Políticas Públicas, sl” and editor of P3T. Graduated on Economy at Autonomus University of Barcelona, Diploma in Management qualified at ESADE and post-graduated on Urbanistic Direction at Autonomus University of Barcelona. He worked as a technician at local administration (Sant Quirze del Vallès, Sabadell) and Research Director of CIREM Foundation, as well. He is specialized in strategic planning, economic and territorial development and transparency and accounting issues.


Reviewing today, on the eve of the first year in office for the local government, the programs of the local elections of 2011 produce a certain embarrassment. Despite of taking place at a very advanced stage of the crisis, in most cases their main keys were pre-crisis: more and better facilities and services and local government role in them…


Repasar hoy, a las puertas del primer año de mandato local, los programas de las elecciones municipales de 2011 produce un cierto sonrojo. A pesar de celebrarse ya muy avanzada la crisis, en la mayoría de los casos sus principales claves eran pre-crisis: más y mejores equipamientos y servicios y más papel de la administración local en ellos.
